Lowrance chartplotters have a multilingual interface, but the base language is set depending on where the product was purchased. If you want to change the language to Japanese, you need to unlock the corresponding language pack.
How to Unlock the Japanese Language on Lowrance Devices
The process of unlocking the Japanese language on Lowrance devices is very simple and does not require the device to be connected to Wi-Fi. To unlock the Japanese language pack, you need to follow these steps:
- Go to the settings menu on the device.
- Select the “system” section.
- Select “Select language”.
- Select “Enable language pack”.
After completing these steps, send us the “Request code” and indicate which language pack you are interested in. Be sure to leave your current email address. Within 24 hours, we will respond to your request and send further instructions on how to unlock the Japanese language pack.
Unlocking the language pack is an official function and after updates to your device, the language will not be removed.
